Basic Info
LiveWire is a program that has been designed for youth. Every Wednesday night, from 6pm to 8pm, youth from all over the Kennebec County area come to Winslow Baptist Church for LiveWire. All youth from 6th through 12th grade are welcome to come. LiveWire is a place where everyone can feel welcome and accepted.

Why Go?
Church and Christianity in general, can be made into boring and irrelevant things for youth. But they don’t have to be! At LiveWire we are showing youth how they can live a fun and exciting Christian life that revolves around a relationship with Jesus. The youth who call LiveWire their youth group describe the program as: “A lot of fun, challenging, friend-oriented, and something to be excited about each week.”

Wednesday Nights
Coming to LiveWire on Wednesday night is one of the best ways to be introduced to our program. When you arrive on a Wednesday night you will be greeted by a friendly person who is your age. A typical LiveWire night includes a creative and easy-to-understand message, games, music and hang out time.




Service
At our service opportunities you will be encouraged to use your gifts, talents, and energy to do good things for others. We offer service opportunities every week at LiveWire, regularly in the community, and in the summer on missions trips to various different locations!
