Basic Info
Ignite is a program that has been designed for teenagers. Every Wednesday night, from 6pm to 8pm, teenagers from all over the Kennebec County area come to Winslow Baptist Church for Ignite. All teens from 9th through 12th grade are welcome to come. Ignite is a place where everyone can feel welcome and accepted.

Why Go?
Church and Christianity in general, can be made into boring and irrelevant things for teenagers. But they don’t have to be! At Ignite we are showing teenagers how they can live a fun and exciting Christian life that revolves around a relationship with Jesus. The teens who call Ignite their youth group describe the program as: “A lot of fun, challenging, friend-oriented, and something to be excited about each week.”

Wednesday Nights
NOTE: Our Ignite Group has combined with the Livewire group for this year. They meet as one on Wednesday evenings.




Service
At our service opportunities you will be encouraged to use your gifts, talents, and energy to do good things for others. We offer service opportunities every week at Ignite, regularly in the community, and in the summer on missions trips to various different locations!
